Other Ways to Donate

We will gladly accept donations of musical instruments and equipment, and sheet music or music books. Sorry, but we cannot accept donations of acoustic pianos (electric ones are fine), nor can we accept old-style organs (modern portable keyboards are fine).

Shop at Kroger? Link your Kroger rewards card to Community Music Alliance and Kroger will send us a donation every time you use your Kroger card, at no cost to you. (Our organization is listed as Community Music Alliance, organization number DB808.)

Visit iGive.com and shop at any of their online retailers (and there are a ton!) they will send us some of the proceeds. Alternatively, they have a browser app that you can use to automatically link purchases to our account.

How are donations used?
100% of donations go directly to supporting our programs. Some examples:

A donation of $25 would pay for one instrumental lesson for up to 8 students.

A donation of $50 would pay for a guitar or other instrument for a student to use.

A donation of $100 would pay for one of our free lunchtime concerts presented for the community.
Share your musical skills
Could you help with one of our recording sessions by adding your musical talents? We are always looking for guitarists, bassists, drummers and other musicians who are willing to volunteer their time and talents. We also sometimes need help from people that can run live sound.

We are always in need of volunteers, regardless of whether you just have half an hour to spare or are willing to help on an ongoing basis.

HANDIMAN:

Put up foam panels (gluing to walls and ceiling)

Painting – touching up around the interior of the building
ADMIN / GENERAL:

Classroom assistants

Office staff – people that can come on once a week for a couple of hours and answer phones/take care of visitors
